Here is one of the areas that I was referring to as hindsight is 20-20. Touch up paint after you have sponge painted is very hard to do. In fact it is almost impossible. Four one gallon custom color mixes later the kitchen repaint is “acceptable”. There are other areas that could use touch up from kids banging around headboards ect but I am not going to touch those!

Oh I forgot to mention…The drywall gap problem in the bedroom was also evident in the kitchen. I was anticipating the use of more molding in that room but changed my mind while looking at tile for the other houses kitchen. There at the dreaded Home Depot were some four inch tiles with a finished 45 angle on one side. The even matched the décor of the rest of the house. So I decided I would use tile as the molding! I bought the tile. Since the old tools and adhesives had been lost or hardened long ago I ended up buying another float, sponges ect ect ect. Then remembering my last tile cutting fiasco I also purchased a cheap tile saw. $88 with a diamond edged blade. Mark took a look at it and said it wouldn’t last but it did fine for me.

I installed and grouted the tile over the next weekend and decided to sell the house. I will give Mark first dibbs at 30K under what I can get for it. If he is not interested I will be putting it on the market so that I can go back to my boat project.

Oh did I tell you that I am making myself a toolbox? Well I bought an industrial enclosure off Ebay. I intend on making it into an awesome toolbox. But then, that’s another story.
